Whether it’s through preaching, teaching, music, or ministry support, our staff works together to make Rincon Baptist Temple a place where everyone feels welcome and encouraged in their walk with the Lord. Meet the Team
Pastor & Family
Joe Springer, Wendy, Kyle, Anna, and Emma
Pastor Joe Springer has a deep passion for God’s Word and a sincere heart for people. He and his wife, Wendy, have faithfully served the Lord together for 16 years at Rincon Baptist Temple. Pastor Joe’s desire is to see lives changed through the preaching and teaching of Scripture, and to encourage believers to grow in their faith and walk closely with the Lord. His love for God, his family, and the church shines through in everything he does.
Youth Director & Family
Matt Alligood, Mary Lauren, Asher, and Sadie Jane
Brother Matt Alligood serves as our Youth Pastor with a heart for helping young people grow in their relationship with Christ. In addition to his ministry work, Matt holds a Doctorate in History, which reflects his love for learning and his appreciation for how God’s hand has guided the past. He has a passion for guiding the next generation to build their lives on the solid foundation of God’s Word. Through teaching, mentoring, and example, he strives to encourage our teens to stand strong in their faith and live boldly for Jesus.
Music Director

We are fervently seeking the Lord's will in our music department. We desire to hire a full time music director for our ministry. We are very blessed to have Andrew Owens fill in as our current music director, he does an incredible job leading our congregation and choir in worship faithfully each week.
