Youth Ministry

The Rincon Baptist Temple Youth Ministry is for students in 6th grade through 18 years old and meets on Sunday nights. Our desire is to create a Christ-centered community where teens can grow in their faith, build meaningful friendships, and learn what it means to live for Jesus in their everyday lives.

Under the leadership of Youth Director Matt Alligood, students are encouraged to develop a strong, biblical foundation while being surrounded by peers who share the same values and love for the Lord. Each gathering includes Bible teaching that is relevant and engaging, along with time for fellowship and connection.

Throughout the year, teens enjoy a variety of activities designed to strengthen relationships and create lasting memories. These include summer camp at The Wilds, all-nighters, games, and other fun seasonal events. Our youth ministry strives to be a place where students feel welcomed, supported, and challenged to grow spiritually.

The wilds

Each summer, our teens look forward to one of the highlights of the year—a week at The Wilds Christian Camp. This unforgettable experience is filled with exciting activities and lifelong memories, all set in a Christ-centered environment.

More than just fun, camp is a powerful time of spiritual growth and encouragement. Through daily preaching, worship, and time in God’s Word, students are challenged to strengthen their walk with Christ and make decisions that shape their faith. Many lasting friendships are formed, and teens often return home refreshed, encouraged, and excited to serve the Lord.

The Wilds has become a treasured tradition in our youth ministry, and it’s a week our students talk about long after summer ends.

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
